Asha S. Joseph
Crown of Hope Charities created in 2017 in the memory of much loved, Asha Sara Joseph who epitomized the beauty and humility of empathy, compassion and community service for the less fortunate. She took off her sandals and gave it to a a woman walking without shoes on a hot Caribbean street, walking home barefooted. She fed and cared for a lost and abandoned puppy that showed up on her doorstep and went to all ends to find it a permanent home. Her happiest time was spent in Grenada, West Indies as an active member of the St. George's University School of Medicine's Orphanage Club, volunteering her time to take the children on outings to the beach and mentoring children from dire straits. |

Arun and Kiran
Brothers Arun and Kiran were brought to Aardhratha Boys Home in August of 2017. Their mother left the boys and her husband and ran off with another man. The father and these 2 boys were in so much pain and on the brink of committing suicide. They had empty stomachs, meager clothes and was not attending school but most importantly, they had no hope. By the grace of God, they were met by two Nuns who knew of Mr. Biju George's ministry and his Aarhdratha Boys Home. He took them in with open arms, provided much needed mental and spiritual counseling, prayed with them and gave them the comforting they needed. |
